Affordable Care Act goes before Supreme Court today

Today the Affordable Care Act, passed by congress under President Barak Obama, will go before the US Supreme court for a third time as a group of Republican attorneys general and the Trump administration seeks to have the law repealed fully as unconstitutional.  Oral arguments will begin today.  Once oral arguments are over, a decision on the law’s fate is expected by the end of June.  Should the law be repealed by the US Supreme court, millions of Americans will lose healthcare coverage, children will no longer be able to stay under their parents plan until 26, and people with pre-existing conditions will no longer be protected.
