Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds Monday issued a proclomation which mandated mask usage in Iowa as the hospital system continues to fill up with COVID-19 patients. The proclomation mandates everyone over two years old wear masks when in indoor public spaces.
The move comes after Reynolds for months opposed such a mandate. The proclomation also limits gatherings for social, community, business and leisure purposes to no more than 15 people indoors and 30 people outdoors. That includes family events.
