The CDC has updated its quarantine guidelines to shorten the time someone needs to isolate after being exposed to someone with COVID-19.  State Epidemeologist Dr. Joshua Clayton explained…

 

 

 

 

 

According to Dr. Clayton the 10 day quarantine will now serve as the standard for the state of South Dakota.  Also, people exposed to COVID-19 being released early from quarantine are still encouraged to monitor their symptoms for the remaining 14 days following early released.
