Tyson Foods has fired seven top managers at its largest pork producing plant in Iowa City Iowa following an independent investigation into allegations these managers bet on how many employees would test positive for COVID-19. The investigation was led by former US attorney General Eric Holder and confirmed the allegations made by whistleblowers. In all, an outbreak at the plant infected more than 1,000 employees and at least six died. According to the findings, these managers put $10 into a pool while mass testing of workers took place. They then drew out of a hat a percentage and the person with the correct percentage won $100 dollars.
