One man died Friday afternoon in a one-vehicle crash north of Goodwin
The name of the one person involved is not being released pending notification of family members.
Preliminary crash information indicates a 1992 GMC Conventional fertilizer truck was northbound on 467th Avenue at the intersection of 166th Street when the driver failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the roadway and rolled.
The 33-year-old male driver was pronounced dead at the scene. He was wearing a seat belt.
South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash. All information released so far is only preliminary.
The Highway Patrol is part of the South Dakota Department of Public Safety.
