Rural America almost across the board lost population according to new census data

The United States Census released a map reporting changes in population county by county as lawmakers ready to begin the redistricting process.  According to map, vast swaths of rural America, and an outright majority of all rural counties lost population or stayed the same.  Cities on the other hand have grown handily over the past 10 years, with most major urban areas experiencing a 20 percent or more increase in population.  According to the map Brown county saw a 0 to 5 percent increase in population over the past 10 years, while all bordering counties experience no growth to a loss in population.
