Gov. Noem says she does not support federal vaccine mandates for interstate travel

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem says she will not support a federal vaccine mandate for interstate travel.  Governor Noem commented on the situation via twitter, as the Biden Administration explores stricter vaccine mandates in order to try and curve the current spike in COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations across the nation.  There are currently 1,270 active COVID-19 cases across the state and 76 people hospitalized.  Brown county currently has 33 active cases and is considered to have “high” risk of community spread.
