The Minnesota Timberwolves has announced interim head coach Ryan Saunders will be retains as the full-fledged head coach next season. He will be the youngest head coach in the NBA at 33-years-old and the first millennial to hold that job. Saunders took over on an interim basis during the 2018-19 season after the firing of head coach Tom Thibodeau and during that time he went 17-25. Players unabashedly endorsed his leadership according to the Associated Press. This was one of the first big decisions made by new president of basketball operations Gersson Rosas.
