The Minnesota Timberwolves has announced interim head coach Ryan Saunders will be retains as the full-fledged head coach next season. He will be the youngest head coach in the NBA at 33-years-old and the first millennial to hold that job.  Saunders took over on an interim basis during the 2018-19 season after the firing of head coach Tom Thibodeau and during that time he went 17-25.  Players unabashedly endorsed his leadership according to the Associated Press.  This was one of the first big decisions made by new president of basketball operations Gersson Rosas.  Saunders in the son of former Wolves head coach, the late Flip Saunders.
