PC signs two women basketball players

Presentation College women's basketball head coach, Nicole Bullock, has announced the addition of two 2020 high school graduates that will be joining the Saints' squad this fall.


Hayden Leggett of Cortez, Colo., and Jaycee Brannon of Weatherford, Texas, have committed to attending Presentation College in the fall of 2020.


Leggett is a 2020 graduate of Montezuma-Cortez High School, where she played point guard under the direction of head coach, Brad Wright. Leggett was a captain, letterwinner and starter for her team, and she was named 2019-2020 Intermountain League Basketball Honorable Mention for her play. Leggett was very active in her community outside of basketball; she participated and was named Grand Champion for Showmanship in 4-H in 2016 and was a member of the National Honors Society. She is the daughter of Tammy Hampton and Adam Leggett and plans to major in Exercise Science.


Brannon will graduate from Weatherford High School on June 1st and plans to major in Nursing at Presentation College. Brannon was a shooting guard and a two-year starter at Weatherford High School where she played for head coach Darryn Sheamire. She was named Team MVP in her senior season while averaging 5.9 points per game, 1.7 assists per game, 4.6 rebounds a game, and 1.3 steals per game. Brannon is also active in her community's health care system and is currently working towards becoming an EMT. Her Emergency Technician Services team placed first at districts and area events. She is the daughter of Jack and Mindy Brannon.
