The Minnesota Vikings and running back Dalvin Cook have come to terms on a multi-year contract extension. The deal is reportedly for five-years worth $63 million. The deal also includes $28 million in guaranteed money.
Dalvin enters his fourth NFL season in 2020 who rushed for 1,135 yards in 14 games last season. He is the first Viking running back since Adrian Peterson to rush for over 1,000 yards in a single season.
Cook entered the season in the last year of his rookie deal, but chose not to hold out even as talks seemed to have broken down during negotiations.
