The Northern State University men's basketball team opens the season sitting at No. 8 in the NABC Top-25 Coaches Poll. The Wolves earned 255 votes and are the lone member of the NSIC in the top-10.
 
The Wolves kick off the year at Wayne State on January 2 and 3, and then open their home campaign versus Bemidji State the following weekend.
