South Dakota State women’s basketball has cracked the top 25 for the first time this season. The poll comes from the Associated Press and was released Dec. 6th. South Dakota State is now 22nd in the nation, after knocking off then #18 Gonzaga over the weekend. It is the first time SDSU has been ranked since they finished ranked #22 in the nation following the 2018-19 season. That season ended with an appearance in the sweet 16. SDSU has started the season 3-0 and knocked off two ranked opponents in Iowa State and Gonzaga.
