The NABC released the first regular season top-25 poll of 2020-21 with the Northern State men's basketball team landing at No. 7. The Wolves opened the year at No. 8 in the preseason rankings released back in November.
NSU is joined by NSIC opponents No. 13 Augustana and No. 25 Sioux Falls. In addition, regional foes No. 1 Northwest Missouri State, No. 17 Washburn, and No. 18 Truman State find themselves in the rankings. Northern is set to open the season on the road at Wayne State on January 2 and 3.
