The Northern State women’s basketball team will open the season this weekend from Wachs Arena versus Wayne State. Tip-off is set for 4 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, January 2 and 3. Up to 500 tickets will be available at the door on a first come first serve basis for each game.
All single game tickets must be purchased at the North entrance to the Barnett Center. Only cash will be accepted. Ticket gates will open 30 minutes prior to tip on each day.
Attendance to basketball will be limited for all contests for the winter 2021 sports season to 25% capacity in Wachs Arena. The baseline capacity of 25% has been developed for all campus facilities including classrooms by University leadership by evaluation of each of the facilities and the overall ability to socially distance. The lower bowl in Wachs Arena max attendance will be 25% of 6,000, which is 1,500.
The current high priority population for admittance will be: Wolves Club members (season ticket holders), suite holders, NSU students, NSU team parents/families via passbook, and visiting team parents/families/fans. Additional game day ticket availability will be publicized at the start of each week based upon current trends and availability. There will be very limited game day or walk-up ticket sales.
Because of attendance restrictions, and prioritization of season ticket holders, single game tickets (if available) will be as follows:
•$10 student (k-12)
•Children under 5: free
