Former Minnesota Twins second baseman Brian Dozier announced his retirement from baseball Thursday. Dozier played nine MLB seasons spending most of the time with the Twins before being traded to the LA Dodgers in 2018. He would win a World Series with the Washington Nationals in 2019 and spent his last season with the New York Mets. The 33-year-old made his Major League debut for the Twins on May 7th 2012. He won a gold glove in 2017, had 192 career home runs and a .244 career batting average.
