The Minnesota Wild announced Tuesday the club has signed prospect Matt Boldy to a three-year entry-level contract. He will begin play with the club this season, beginning his professional career with the Iowa Wild of the AHL. Boldy is 19 years old and considered one of the clubs top prospects. He scored 31 points in 22 games with Boston College this season, leading the Eagles in scoring, goals, assists, power play points and shots on goal. He was named a Hobey Baker finalists this year which is awarded to the top men’s hockey college hockey player in the nation. He was selected in the first round 12th overall by the Minnesota Wild in the 2019 NHL draft.
