Minnesota Vikings cornerback Jeff Gladney has been arrested on assault charges.  Gladney turned himself into the Dallas police department Monday.  According to authorities Galdney was allegedly involved in a verbal altercation Friday with a  22-year-old woman over the contents of a cell phone.  At some point during the argument things became physical according to the Dallas Police Department.  The 24-year-old now faces assault on a household member impeding breathing or circulation charges.  He has been released on bail.  The Vikings released a statement on the matter saying the team takes the allegations very seriously and will be investigating the matter further.
