Louisiana law enforcement officer facing sex crime charges in South Dakota

A Louisiana law enforcement officer is facing sex crimes in South Dakota. According to Keloland News 44-year-old Kirk Thibodeaux has been charged with a Class 1 Misdemeanor for hiring for sexual activity. Thibodeaux was arrested in Rapid City while attending a conference on September 20^th around 3:00 a.m. He has been placed on administrative leave by the Louisiana State Police. He had been serving on the agency’s Transportation and Safety Service/Commercial Vehicle Enforcement section.
