A man accused of stabbing a woman to death in Yankton has pleaded not guilty. 31-year-old Adrian Lund appeared in court Thursday and entered his plea to second degree murder, aggravated assault and possession of a controlled substances charges. Lund is accused of murdering 33-year-old Timber Rose Cournoyer. Authorities say the fatal stabbing occurred at about 11:15 p.m. On Monday May 22nd. Officers found Cournoyer with a stab wound to her chest in her Yankton apartment. She was rushed to a Sioux Falls hospital where she would die as a result of her injuries. Authorities claim Lund and Cournoyer were in a relationship and lived together a the the residence.
