The Mega Millions lottery jackpot has now reached over $1.02 billion after no one matched all six numbers Tuesday night and won the top prize. The new jackpot is now estimated to be the nation’s fourth largest lottery prize in history. No one has matched six selected numbers since April 15th or 29 consecutive drawings without a winner. A winner only gets the 1.02 billion in annuity payments, if they were to take cash that would total a lump sum of $602.5 million. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 302.5 million.
