Milbank native Kalen DeBoer named AP college football coach of the year

Milbank native and University of Washington head football coach Kalen DeBoer has been named the Associated Press college football coach of the year. DeBoer has lead the Washington Huskies to a perfect 13-0 record this season and a PAC-12 Championship. He also has the Huskies as one of just four teams who make the College Football Playoffs. The Huskies will take on Texas in the Sugar Bowl on January 1^st. The winner qualifies for the College Football National Championship game.
