Minnesota Timberwolves trade guard D’Angelo Russell to Los Angeles in three team deal

The Minnesota Timberwolves completed a three team deal with the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Lakers the night before today’s trade deadline. The deal sends guard D’Angelo Russell to the LA Lakers, along with Utah’s Malik Beasley and Jarred Vanderbilt. Minnesota will receive point guard Mike Conley and shooting guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker along with three second round picks. The Jazz receive point guard Russell Westbrook from Los Angeles along with forward Juan Toscano-Anderson and center Damian Jones, along with the Lakers 2027 first round pick, top four protected.
