Minnesota Wild re-sign defenseman Zach Bogosian to two-year deal

The Minnesota Wild have resigned veteran defenseman Zach Bogosian to a two-year $2.5 million contract extension. Bogosian is 33 years old and so far this season has one goal and eight assists in 43 games with Minnesota. He is second amongst defensemen with 80 hits and fifth on the team with 51 blocked shots. He was acquired by Minnesota this past offseason from the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for a 2025 seventh round pick.
