The Minnesota Wild have traded goaltender Cam Talbot to the Ottawa Senators in exchange for goaltender Filip Gustavsson. Gustavsson is 24-years-old and appeared in 18 games with Ottawa last season. He went 5-12-1 with a 3.55 goals against average and a .892 save percentage. Gustavsson was a second round pick of the Pittsburg Penguins, 55th overall in 2016. He replaces Talbot to back up Marc Andre Fleury who just signed a two year contract extension in Minnesota. NHL free agency will begin this morning at 11:00 a.m. Central time.
