Minnesota Wild trade defenseman Calen Addison to San Jose

The Minnesota Wild have traded defenseman Calen Addison to the San Jose Sharks for forward Adam Raska and a fifth round pick.

Addison is 23-years-old and was acquired by the Wild in the Jason Zucker trade with Pittsburgh. Last season he played 62 games for Minnesota scoring three goals and 26 assists for 29 points.

Raska is 22 years old and from the Czech Republic. He has played 12 NHL games in his young career, spending most of his time with the Sharks AHL affiliate. He was selected in the seventh round, 201st overall by San Jose in the 2020 NHL draft.
