The name of a Pierre man who drowned at Down’s Marina in August has been released. According to Pierre police 69-year-old Larry Kucker died via drowning on August 11th. Police still do not know what led Kucker to enter the water in the marina, but officers suspect he went to retreive something from his boat and ended up in the water. He was found unresponsive and taken to a local hospital where he later died. No foul play was suspected.
