Navigator announces its shutting down pipeline plan for southeast South Dakota

Navigator, one of the two companies currently trying to build a Co2 carbon capture pipeline across South Dakota has officially pulled the plug on the project. The decision comes after Navigator saw its permit application denied by the South Dakota Public Utilities Commission last month. Navigator was attempting to build a pipeline through parts of southeastern South Dakota. In a statement about the decision, Navigator says the nature of the decision comes from the unpredictable nature of government processes particularly in South Dakota and Iowa.
