North Dakota State introduced the football program’s newest head coach to the media Monday. Tim Polasek was named the 32nd head football coach in program history Sunday and replaces the outgoing Matt Entz. Entz is leaving NDSU to take a position coaching job at the University of Southern California.
Polasek comes to NDSU after most recently serving as the offensive coordinator for the University of Wyoming. Polasek coached at NDSU as an assistant under former head coach Craig Bohl from 2006 to 2012 and again from 2014 to 2017.
Polasek was a finalist for the head coaching job the last time there was a vacancy, but he did not get chosen. He says that failure first time around was a learning experience…
