Star NHL defenseman P.K. Subban announced Tuesday plans to retire from the NHL following a 17 year career with the Montreal Canadiens, Nashville Predators and New Jersey Devils. He made the announcement in a post on his Instagram account. Suban is 33-years-old and a current free agent. Subban played in 834 career games scoring 115 goals and 467 points. He won the 2013 Norris trophy as the league’s top overall defensemen. He also won a gold medal with Canada at the 2014 Sochi Russia Olympic Games.
