North Dakota High School Activities to adopt three class basketball system

The North Dakota High School Activities Association’s executive board voted Wednesday to adopt a new three-class high school basketball format. This format will begin the 2023-24 school year. Before this proposal, the breakdown was 325 students or more in high school would got to class A, less than 325 would go to class B. This new enrollment would make schools with 650 students or more in 9-12 move to AA, 162 to 649 to Class A and 162 students or fewer to class B.
