A North Dakota man was arrested in Roberts County following fleeing officers. According to the Roberts County Sheriff’s department Nathan J. Stanley of Horace, ND was rescued by local residents after becoming stuck on a rural road near Clair City. He walked for several miles before being taken in by residents to help prevent any further hypothermia related injuries. When the residents tried to get him further help from police he fled. Once tracked down he was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI 4th offense, no valid driver’s license, no insurance, obstruction, open container in a motor vehicle and obstruction.
