Northern State libro Abby Meister has been named the NSIC defensive player of the week. Meister earned the honor by helping the Wovles going 4-0 over the weekend at the Yellow Jacket Classic at Black Hills State. Meister led the NSIC with 102 digs over the weekend, averaging 6.8 digs per set. She also racked up a season high 41 digs against Texas A&M Kingsville. Northern’s next volleyball game will be Friday at home vs. Minnesota Crookston. First serve will be at 6:00 p.m.
