Northern State picked to finish 12th in pre-season softball poll

Northern State softball has been picked to finish in 12 place in the recently released NSIC pre-season softball poll. Picked to win the conference was Augustana with 11 of the 15 first place votes. Rounding off the top five includes Minnesota Duluth, Winona State, Minnestoa State Mankato and St. Cloud State. Named as players to watch for Northern included utility player Claire Zbylut and left handed pitcher Lexi Chase. Northern State softball will open the season in St. Cloud taking on Black Hills State February 2^nd.
