Northern State star Jacksen Moni named NSIC player of the week

Northern State men’s basketball star Jacksen Moni has been named the NSIC player of the week for the second time this season. He earned the honor for the two double-doubles he had in the team’s weekend victories over St. Cloud State and Bemidji State. Over the weekend he averaged 25.5 points and 13 rebounds, all while shooting 45.5 percent from the floor and 69.2 percent from behind the three point line. Northern’s next match will be Friday on the road taking on Minot State. Tip off will be at 5:30 p.m.
