The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference released the week 6 NSIC Players of the Week this morning, with Northern State quarterback Will Madler landing on the list. The redshirt sophomore was honored as the offensive player of the week by the league, following the Wolves win over Winona State.
NSIC Offensive Player of the Week – #18 Will Madler (QB, 5-10, 180, R-So., Bismarck, N.D. / Bismarck HS)
– Had a hand in six total touchdowns, as he amassed 420 yards of total offense in a 42-21 victory over Winona State
– Threw for a career high 394 yards with four touchdowns
– Added 26 yards rushing and two rushing touchdowns
– Connected with eight Wolves receivers in the win
– Ranks in the top-10 for single game passing yards and passing touchdowns at Northern State
