The 2024 NSIC Volleyball Tournament pairings have been determined following the conclusion of the NSIC regular season schedule. The top eight teams from the NSIC Volleyball Standings advance to the single-elimination tournament. The quarterfinals will be hosted at the top four seeds on Tuesday, November 19 at 6 p.m. and the semifinals/championship matches hosted at the highest remaining seed. The semifinals/championship matches will take place on two consecutive days between Friday and Sunday, November 22-24 with the dates of competition determined by the host institution following the quarterfinal round.
St. Cloud State (18-0) is the 2024 NSIC Regular Season Champion and earned the top seed. Concordia St. Paul (16-2) earned the second seed while Wayne State (14-4) earned the third seed over Southwest Minnesota State (14-4) via strength of schedule. Northern State (12-6) is the fifth seed and Winona State (11-7) earned the sixth seed. Minnesota State (10-8) earned the seventh seed over Sioux Falls (10-8) via strength of schedule.
The quarterfinal round matches will be free to view on the NSIC Network. The semifinals and championship matches will be behind a paywall as fans can purchase a match for $10 or a tournament pass (all three matches) for $15.
The NSIC, the Mid-America Athletic Association (MIAA) and the Great American Conference (GAC) make up the 39-team NCAA Central Region. The top eight teams in the region will advance to the NCAA region tournament on December 5-8. Automatic bids are granted to the winners of the MIAA, GAC and NSIC postseason tournaments, with the remaining five spots awarded on an at-large basis. The NCAA Volleyball selection show will be streamed online on Monday, November 25 at 6:30 p.m. (CT) on NCAA.com. The championship quarterfinals, semifinals and final match will take place Thursday-Saturday, December 12-14, at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
