South Dakota will be one school district less than last year. Ramona and Rutland K-12 schools have voted to unify this coming school year. This comes after both school districts have been in operation for more than 100 years. The new school district will be known as the Oldham-Ramona-Rutland School District. The schools have been partnered in athletics for many years already. Oldham is approximately 12 miles from Ramona and 27 miles from Rutland. Ramona is approximately 29 miles from Rutland.
