A 22-year-old man died while hiking on an unmarked trail in the Badlands National Park this week. According to Penning County Officials, 22-year-old Maxwell Right from St. Louis Missouri died from what is believed to be dehydration and exposure. Another 21-year-old male was found with him and taken to a local hospital for observation and treatment for dehydration and exposure. The two were hiking the unmarked trail as part of an apparent social media challenge. The situation remains under investigation.
