One person is dead following a shooting incident northwest of Mitchell in rural Davison County Sunday morning.
Davison County Sheriff Steve Harr says a Deputy responded to the call about 10:35. A suspect reportedly fired two shots at a family member inside the residence and fled.
Harr says when a deputy arrived, he was told the suspect had returned to the residence….
With a self-inflicted fatal gunshot wound from a handgun.
Harr says the suspect and two others were in the residence when the incident occurred. The three were related. He says the investigation is continuing. Names of those involved will be released later.
