One person killed in Tea SD shooting

One man is dead and a suspect has been arrested in a Tea South Dakota shooting Monday. According to the Tea police department the incident occurred around 11:40 a.m. June 3^rd in the 2200 block of North Clara Avenue in Tea. Authorities claim they found an adult male with gunshot wounds upon arriving to the scene. The victim received medical attention, but would pass away due to his injuries. Upon further investigation authorities identified Timothy Duwayne Overton as a suspect in the shooting and took him into custody. He will have his initial court appearance this week. No further details about the situation were released.
