One person shot Tuesday night in northern Aberdeen

The Aberdeen Police Department reports one person was shot Tuesday in the northern part of town. According to police, officers responded to shots fired at about 9:16 p.m. In the 700 block of North Congress Street. Upon arrival officers found a victim with multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was taken to a local hospital to receive medical attention. Police say they have tracked down all those involved in the incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public. The identity of the victim or any suspects were not released, other than the victim was a 20-year-old man.
