The group “South Dakota Open Primaries” has reported it has collected the necessary 25,000 signatures, plus another 10,000 more to get its issue on the November 2024 ballot.
If voters passed this measure, it would allow all registered voters to vote for their favorite top two candidates in an open primary, with the top two choices advancing to the general election.
