A pedestrian was killed early Sunday morning after being struck by a vehicle near Wilmot in Roberts county. According to the Department of Public Safety a 20-year-old male was walking in the southbound lane of South Dakota Highway 123 early Sunday morning when hew was struck by a driver of a 2004 Chevy Tahoe also in the southbound lane. The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody on DUI charges and has other charges pending.
