Philadelphia Union Cavan Sullivan becomes youngest player to make MLS debut

Philadelphia Union midfielder Cavan Sullivan made history Wednesday night becoming the youngest player featured in a Major League Soccer game. Sullivan is 14 years and 293 days old and came in late in the second half against the New England Revolution Wednesday night in a 5-1 Union win. Sullivan breaks the old record held by Freddy Adu who made his MLS debut in April of 2004 at the age of 14 years and 306 days old.
