(Dakota Radio Group News – Pierre, SD) Charges are pending against a 22 year old man from Pierre following a pursuit with local law enforcement agencies Saturday night (Sept. 23, 2023, 10:58pm CT) in Pierre.
Information from the South Dakota Highway Patrol says a trooper attempted to stop a 2011 GMC Terrain driven by Dustin Marshall. Marshall did not stop and a pursuit ensued through various parts of Pierre. At one point, Marshall went down a street and crashed into a Pierre Police Department vehicle. He fled on foot, but was apprehended a short time later. No one was injured.
The incident remains under investigation. Agencies responding to the incident were the South Dakota Highway Patrol, the Pierre Police Department and the Hughes County Sheriff’s Office.
