(Dakota Radio News Group – Pierre, SD) A man from Pierre was arrested over the weekend (June 17, 2023) after an incident involving a firearm.
A spokesperson for the Pierre Police Department says at approximately 4am, officers were called to the 2200 block of East Sully Avenue to investigate a report of a firearm being brandished at multiple individuals. 56 year old Basil O’Day of Pierre was identified as the perpetrator.
O’Day was located Sunday and arrested for 2 counts of Aggravated Assault and 1 count of Aggravated Assault Domestic.
