Pierre police investigation a death

(KCCR – Pierre, SD) Pierre police are in the middle of a death investigation. Pierre Police Captain Dusty Pelle says officers responded to disturbance call Thursday night around nine-pm to the 300 block of South Brule Street. A body was discovered at that location. A person of interest has been detained by authorities and investigators are attempting to determine a cause of death for the individual found at the residence. Pelle says this is the only information available for release at this time. Pierre police are being assisted in the investigation by the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation and South Dakota Highway Patrol.
