Police in Yankton are investigating a possible fatal shooting which occurred Sunday morning. According to the Yankton Police Department officers were aclled to the Sacred Heart Emergency Room around 6:00 a.m. Sunday in response to a male victim arriving with a gunshot wound. The victim would later die due to his injruies. Officers then turned to a residence in the 1900 block of Locust Street and managed to come up with a suspect. That person, who was not immediately identified is currently in police custody. This is an ongoing investigation.
