Water boil advisory lifted by city officials

A water boil advisory issued for parts of Aberdeen on Saturday has been lifted by city officials. A water main break this weekend led to the boil advisory as a precautionary measure. According to city officials tests conducted for E.coli and other coliform bacteria are not present in the system. The break was located north of Milwaukee Avenue northeast. Residents first noticed either no water or a lack of water pressure around 9:30 a.m.
