Republicans in the House of Representatives narrowly passed a bill Wednesday which would raise the United State’s debt limit, but also cut huge amounts of spending. Congress is trying to get this done before the United States defaults on its debts. President Joe Biden has remained consistent he is willing to negotiate on long term fiscal spending, but not those spending cuts being tied to the debt ceiling.
